Further Education & Training

Our Further Education and Training Division delivers courses to over 25,000 learners each year and has responsibility for 33 Further Education and Training Centres across the region. We work with Community groups in approximately 300 locations in Limerick and Clare and are also responsible for the management of Music Education provision. The range of courses includes: Apprenticeships, Career Traineeships, Hospitality Education and Training, Post Leaving Certificate (PLC), Specific Skills Training, Local Training Initiatives, Specialist Training Provision (e.g. Training for Persons with Disabilities), Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS), Youth Provision (Youthreach & Community Training Centres), Back to Education Initiative (BTEI), Community Education, Literacy Services and Evening Courses.
